• Provide any necessary materials or branding assets as requested.
• Business cards or contact information to share with participants and attendees to promote your business

3. Expectations for Sponsors:
• Financial Contribution: Provide financial support at an agreed-upon sponsorship level.
• Promotion and Marketing: Allow the use of your company’s logo and name in event marketing materials, including the event website, social media posts, and printed materials.
• Product or Service Donation: Offer products or services as giveaways, prizes, or in-kind donations to enhance the attendee experience.
• Active Participation: Engage in the event by having representatives attend and participate in workshops, panels, or networking sessions.
• Exhibit Space: Set up a booth or display area to promote your products or services to attendees.
• Brand Messaging: Align your sponsorship messaging with the event's themes and values to ensure coherence and mutual benefit and attendees to promote your business
• Feedback Contribution: Provide feedback on the event's effectiveness and suggestions for future improvements.

Presenters: Negotiated or Paid fee
1. Role:
Presenters deliver talks or activities aligned with the retreat theme.
2. Expectations:
• Post on all social media platforms to help draw attendees …minimum of 2 x per week leading up to event… and a thank you post after event.
• Arrive at least 30 minutes before sessions to prepare.
• Provide materials or presentations in advance for review, if applicable.
• Deliver content within the allotted time frame.
• Engage participants actively through interactive elements
• Possible participation in separate Q&A session, if held.
• Be prepared to adapt to audience needs or feedback.
• Business cards or contact information to share with participants and attendees to promote your business
• Swag Bag items as appropriate and desired (Special consideration given for In-Kind contributions)
3. What we will provide:
• Our team will be available to address any questions, concerns, or logistical needs before, during, and after the event.
• Delicious and nourishing food will be provided throughout the retreat, offering a shared dining experience that fosters connection and camaraderie.
• Small group networking opportunities, allowing participants to forge meaningful connections and explore potential business partnerships or collaborations.
• Presenters will receive exclusive benefits, including a free strategic business audit to assess their current strategies and identify areas for improvement.
• Additionally, presenters can enjoy a 15% discount on consulting or coaching packages when used within one year of the event, empowering them to continue their growth journey.
• Special discounts of 10% off the cost of future workshops, retreats, or events will be offered to presenters as a token of appreciation for their ongoing support and engagement.
• Presenters will have the chance to showcase their expertise and insights as guest speakers during our "Wisdom Wednesday" sessions, providing valuable content and inspiration to fellow attendees.
Vendors Booth Area: Paid fee
1. Role:
Vendors provide goods or services during the retreat
2. Expectations:
• Set up designated areas promptly and in accordance with guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and professionalism in presentation.
• Adhere to any specific instructions regarding sales, sampling, or promotion.
• Coordinate with event organizers for load-in, load-out, and any special requirements.
• Business cards or contact information to share with participants and attendees to promote your business
• Swag Bag items as appropriate and desired
• Yummy food, connection and networking opportunities, business promotion, referral partnership, etc.
• Pay for service - possible gas reimbursement and accommodations for venues outside of 40-mile radius to your place of business
Social Media Guidelines:
All participants (facilitators, presenters, sponsors, staff, and vendors) are encouraged to actively promote the retreat on their social media channels with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Posts should include engaging content related to the retreat theme, highlights of sessions or activities, and reasons why attendees should participate. Aim for a balance between promotional posts and valuable content that provides insight or inspiration to potential attendees.
Use the designated event hashtag and tag the retreat's official social media accounts whenever possible.
Coordinate with the Novel Expressions designated social media coordinator or point of contact to align messaging and timing of posts.
Additional Guidelines:
Participants are encouraged to share personal anecdotes, insights, or experiences related to the retreat on social media to create authenticity and engagement. Any social media posts related to the retreat should accurately represent the event and avoid misrepresentation or exaggeration.
Respect attendee privacy and confidentiality, refraining from sharing sensitive information or images without consent.
Participants are responsible for monitoring their social media channels for any inquiries or engagement from potential attendees and responding promptly and courteously.
Attendee Assistance:
All participants are ambassadors for the retreat and should be prepared to assist attendees with questions, directions, or concerns.
Familiarize yourself with the retreat schedule, venue layout, and key points of contact for attendee assistance.
Be approachable and proactive in offering assistance to attendees, whether it's providing directions to sessions, recommending nearby amenities, or addressing any issues or feedback they may have.
Work collaboratively with other participants and staff members to ensure attendees have a positive experience throughout the retreat.

At Novel Expressions, we foster a culture of collaboration, mutual respect, and professionalism among all participants. To ensure a harmonious and supportive environment, please adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Collaboration over Competition:
• Embrace the spirit of collaboration and support your fellow participants in their endeavors.
• Avoid engaging in activities that may be perceived as self-promotion at the expense of others.
• Instead of competing for attention or customers, seek opportunities to collaborate on projects, workshops, or initiatives that benefit the entire community.
2. Respecting Boundaries:
• Respect the boundaries and privacy of fellow participants, attendees, and staff members.
• Refrain from soliciting or poaching customers, clients, or attendees from other participants or sponsors.
• Any business inquiries or collaborations should be conducted with professionalism and mutual consent, respecting each other's autonomy and interests.
3. Maintaining Professionalism:
• Uphold high standards of professionalism in all interactions, both online and offline.
• Refrain from engaging in behavior that may be deemed unprofessional, disrespectful, or harmful to the reputation of the retreat or its participants.
• Address any conflicts or concerns with diplomacy and discretion, seeking resolution through open communication and collaboration.
4. Honoring Commitments:
• Honor any commitments or agreements made with fellow participants, sponsors, or organizers.
• Fulfill obligations in a timely manner and communicate proactively if any challenges or changes arise.
• By upholding your commitments, you contribute to the success and integrity of the retreat and build trust within the community.
5. Reporting Concerns:
• If you encounter any instances of misconduct, boundary violations, or unprofessional behavior, please report them to the designated point of contact or organizer.
• Your feedback and observations are invaluable in maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all participants.
